Built around a simple idea: children grow better when school feels connected.
Aangan is a day and residential school in Dhulikhel. Lessons, residence, meals, activities and mentoring are designed as one experience rather than separate departments.
Established 2058 BS / 2001 AD.
Day + Residential

Why Aangan
A school can be structured without feeling institutional.
Clear routines matter. So do warmth, humour, familiar adults and the feeling that a student is known outside the classroom.
Day and residential students belong to one school.
There is no separate academic standard or parallel student culture.
Mentoring continues after class.
Residence mentors coordinate with class teachers instead of working in isolation.
Dhulikhel is part of the curriculum.
Walks, local mapping, ecology and community observation regularly move learning outdoors.
Our path
Twenty-five years, without becoming a factory.
